The government encourages Social Security recipients to have their monthly checks Direct Deposited rather than mailed. To sign-up, call the Social Security Administration at 1-800-772-1213 or complete a Social Security Sign-up Form. (In the Search box choose 'Keyword." In the 'For' box, type Direct Deposit.)

Let us know if you would like a portion of your monthly Social Security deposit automatically transferred to another account. For example, you might elect to have your monthly check deposited into your Checking account, but want a certain dollar amount to go to your Savings and/or Money Market accounts. We will gladly set an automatic transfer to take place each month.
